Whining Dog!
I can't get my 3 month old husky/mix to stop whining and howling when I put her into her crate. I don't want to let her run ramped because she's not housebroken yet but I need t sleep at night. And I live in an apartment, so I can only imagine how pissed my neighbors are. I know she just wants to be around me and get attention. She even does it when I put her in there during the day. I'm not trying to punish her. I'm trying to potty train her. Someone please help!

Crate Training
I have crate trained two dogs and both stopped whining after about a week.
Now they think of the crate as their own home and they are very
comfortable with it. Make sure the crate is not too small and the dog has
plenty of room to turn around. I think it helps to have the crate in the
bedroom, so the dog knows you are near and she's not really alone. You
really have to be willing to ignore the whining for about a week. Hope
this Helps.
