Re: Household stuff that can be harmful for dogs
Of course, detergents, fabric softeners and other cleaning compounds which odor can appeal to your pet. This will irritate their mouth and tongue and cause digestive problems. Worse, death. Never use the above mentioned to deodorize your pet's bed or kennel.

Re: Household stuff that can be harmful for dogs
Pesticides such as rat and termite killers are sometime prevalent around the house. When it comes to contact with your dog's paw, it can easily be ingested when the animal cleans itself up, causing a lot of distress, irritation and poisoning.

Re: Household stuff that can be harmful for dogs
When your pet is in pain, never give it medicine intended for humans. So never give it aspirin or tylenol or anything that is for us. When your pet is in pain, contact the vet.

Re: Household stuff that can be harmful for dogs
candle wax could also be harmful to your dogs, even though your dog wasn't able to swallow it, but once it gets contact in their eyes, skin or anywhere else, potential danger is coming in.

Re: Household stuff that can be harmful for dogs
Little things can also be harmful! we may not give too much attention with it but things like marbles, small balls, erasers, thumb tacks, etc, are harmful. we all know that dogs just grab and bite whatever they see! we wouldn't want our pets swallow a small piece of wood, right?

Re: Household stuff that can be harmful for dogs
There are a lot of household stuffs that could be very harmful to our dogs, as what Abijoy has mentioned, all the small things could also lead to fatal accidents for dogs. Be sure that you give attention to the surroundings of your dog.
