My Dog cries all night, every night    Hello, I'm desperately in need of some help... I recently took in a 11 month old Siberian Husky that had been tied to a door and left alone for the majority of her life. Now that I have her she has abandonment issues and begins to cry for hours if no one is around, or if she is sleeping alone. This has become a major problem because she keeps my family and the neighbors awake at night. I don’t know what I could do to stop this behavior, because I’m losing sleep over it and just about everyone has reached their limit.

Another Dog
Get another dog. All dogs are happier with a friend. Siberians especially so. They seem to need a pack'o'peers more than most other breeds.

Siberians are very pack oriented dogs, you either need to put up with her night time noises, get another pup, or put her where she can see you at all times. in fact you should expect a bunch of weird noises from her, Siberians are know for their vocabulary.

I suppose that as your dog is new to you it takes time to habituate in your house .First you make her feel as though there is someone, and she might not cry, if not get her another pup or something as her companion. I too had this experience and now I am providing dog training.
