Probably, I'll spend some special treats for them, how about treating them for a new haircut or joining a dog contest that would enhance their skills and well-being.

Or you may want to let him/her join a Christmas family reunion party or neighborhood fun activity Christmas day. You can buy him/her a gift so that they could be part of kris kringle exchange gifts. That would be fun for them!
