Bathing my dog    I want to give my new Shih Tzu a bath everyday. Right now, I only bathe her once every week with a shampoo and warm water because she doesn't really like taking a bath but I think that she would get used to if I do it daily or maybe every other day. I also just use a brush to remove all the build-up of dirt and to keep her hair shiny and tangle-free. I also use a wet wipes to clean her private area and to remove the dirt on her face. Is it alright if I bathe her every other day? She is getting really dirty.

Bathing my dog
I think that giving a bath to your puppy every day or every other day is not really a good idea because she is still young and i don't think her body could take that. Maybe you can try giving him a bath every 5 days or so because that would be the right amount. You don't have to worry about your dog being too smelly or dirty because all he needs is some cleaning using a wet wipe from time to time. I also suggest that you just use a regular dog shampoo or not other kinds that may be harmful for them.

Bathing my dog
I definitely agree with doglover. You can give your puppy a bath every 5 days or so, but not everyday or every other day because it can dry the hair of your puppy too much. I agree with everything that he has said and I would also like to add that maybe you should invest in a high-end or more expensive brand of shampoo like the Coat handler for it will not in any way dry the hair of your pup. You can also use a conditioner if you like if you want to maintain the long hair of your puppy. You can also use sprays to remove the tangles.
