Giving my new dog a bath    I wanted to give Antsy a bath because when my cousin gave her to me, she is very dirty. It looks like she hasn't showered for weeks already. I tried putting her in the tub but she was struggling out of my hands to get free. She keeps on jumping and water keeps on splashing everywhere. She is such a mess. I don't think that she likes taking a bath. Is there any way that I can prevent her from doing this each time I give her a bath? Please help me because as you all know I am new with this kind of things.

Giving my new dog a bath
Hi! Dorothy, my pet Poodle, is exactly the same as your dog Antsy. She gets really irritated for a while and would start jumping to get out of the tub. I got used to it already and I would just prepare some towels on the floor so it won't be too much messy and I can easily clean it. But she is getting better now when it comes to taking a bath and I just make sure that I give her lukewarm water because she really loves it. It can get really cold here and she loves it. I would just put some of her toys in the tub so she can play with them while I wash her hair.

Giving my new dog a bath
Ferb doesn't like taking a bath as well, just like any other dog. He would jump out of the tub, he is very big and I had to keep a tight leash on him if I want to bathe him. He is really out of control when it comes to taking a bath and once I started shampooing him, he would give me those puppy dog eyes that I cannot resist but have to. I usually give him a treat. What I do is put peanut butter on his plate and uses my other hand to shampoo him. It is very difficult and I had to have my sister by my side or else I could not do it.
