Re: Fun at Bathing
Bathing can be exhausting sometimes for dogs and the owners. On the other hand, dogs would really love to have a bath but there are techniques more than proper ones like giving a reward for a resisting dog which would work on luring him to enjoy a bath

Re: Fun at Bathing
Get the dog something to play like a little toy bone to chew on while you are starting on the washing and rinsing of his body. That way he is more focused on his mouth than his body reflexes.

Re: Fun at Bathing
I think you have to confirm your dog’s mood first like if he was exhausted from being active then let him subside for a while, but if he is too lazy at moment, then give some kind of motivation like a command to reward.

Taking a bath with your dog
Saving water is essential. Do you think taking a bath with your dog is a good idea? It is like a bonding moment with your pet. Are you in favor of this?

Re: Taking a bath with your dog
For me? I don't think its a good idea, even though dogs are considered man's best friend, there should be a limit in bonding moment, but in most cases, others try to take a bath with their pets, its basically their own decision and we don't have anything to do with that.

I am in favor with this, not only this session would help develop your closeness to your dog, it also shows how much intimate moments you would really spend with your dog, and for me thats a sweet thing.

Re: Taking a bath with your dog
Not all the time you would really wanna do this, but I say, Its OK if you join with your canine friend in taking a bath, its a fun way and just goes to show how much you really care for your dog.

Re: Taking a bath with your dog
Hey, I do that with my dog whenever she takes a bath. It's fun, you know. I don't seem to have any problem with that. In fact, according to my friend who is a vet, every moment you spend with your pet, especially with dogs, gives them joy and makes them feel they are treasured.

Re: Fun at Bathing
The dogs usually get cold during showers. Try hugging them. They feel comfortable with that.
