Right time to separate pups from mom    What would be the right time that a puppy would be separated from his/her mom and be ready for adoption? Any suggestions?

As long as they're still sucking milk from their moms you cannot separate them. Pups on their baby stage still have to be nourished in order for them to develop. I would suggest you separate them when they are able to eat independently solid dog foods.

According to my vet, after a week or so, puppies can be separated from their moms, you can substitute milk using real babies' milk and they are also good for them. But it's not really advisable but only these are special cases.

As breastfeeding is good for human babies as it is also good for dogs. The idea here is mother dogs got milking breasts and that's what they are created for. Besides, it is economical and nutritious for them to have dog's milk.
